Glens Falls Hospital is the sole, comprehensive acute care community hospital serving 250,000 people across a 3,000 square mile region of Northeastern New York. Established in 1897, our 410-bed, not-for-profit hospital is the largest medical facility between the state capital of Albany and Montreal, Canada. In late 2005, Glens Falls Hospital completed a $65 million modernization project adding on a new six-story patient care tower, which increased the size of the Hospital by 40%.
More than 300 affiliated physicians and more than 100 affiliated physician extenders provide a full spectrum of primary care, specialty and sub-specialty services. Glens Falls Hospital is widely recognized for offering physicians and their patients a scope of services far beyond that of most community hospitals its size. We combine advanced medical technology with compassionate, hometown care.
